Hello, my dear readers!

What started off as a fun exercise to rewrite fairy tales and create my own, has brought me to this day where I live and breathe children's books. 
I'm Vaishali Shroff, an engineer turned award-winning author, script writer, and columnist based in Mumbai. I have over 300 stories published, both fiction and non-fiction, in books, and also textbooks, magazines, newspapers, and digital media, across Indian and international publishing houses.
I love to write about unexplored places, untold histories, and unheard nonhumans.
Published with the likes of Penguin, Harper, Oxford, Westland, Tulika, Pratham, Eklavya, Mango DC, Daffodil Lane Books, People Place Project, Art1st, and more, the last fourteen years of writing children's books has been nothing short of exciting and I can't wait to see what my pen can unveil in the coming years.
