Taatung Tatung Book Launch

The day I’ve waited for is here. It’s with immense joy and pride that my newest offering, my labour of love, TAATUNG TATUNG AND OTHER AMAZING STORIES OF INDIA’S DIVERSE LANGUAGES, published by Penguin, IndIa, officially launches on EKUSHEY FEBRUARY or 21 February, celebrated the world over as International Mother Language Day!

And I’m truly delighted that Mohini Gupta of @mothertonguetwisters has kindly agreed to host this event.

Mohini Gupta is currently pursuing a DPhil (PhD) in language politics at the University of Oxford. She founded the multilingual digital collective Mother Tongue Twisters to promote Indian language poetry for young readers and curate conversations on literary translation. Gupta was the Charles Wallace India Trust Translator-Writer Fellow in 2017 for creative writing and translation, hosted by Literature Across Frontiers.
